With a background in English language teacher and a passion for research, she has worked with a wide range of students and higher education systems, from the most junior to PhDs.

Throughout her career, Iyabode has trained and mentored many early and middle career academics. Many of these have attained the highest career levels in a variety of higher education institutions, including universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

In addition to her professional work, Iyabode is committed to sharing her knowledge and expertise with the next generation of academics and researchers, whether in the academia or the corporate world.
